Jim Lang is a broadcast veteran and best-selling author. It was Jim’s voice listeners of 105.9 The Region first heard when the station launched in December 2013 and the voice a loyal audience starts their day with Monday through Fridays. Jim is a veteran interviewer contributing unique stories to The FEED (Saturdays 9am) and a frequent guest at festivals, parades and events throughout York Region. As a proud resident of Newmarket, Jim is happy to work in the area he calls home.
Jim co-wrote the book Bleeding Blue with Wendel Clark, Shift Work with Tie Domi and Everyday
Hockey Heroes with Bob Mackenzie. Jim was also an anchor/reporter at Sportsnet, morning show
host at Fan 590 and he has covered almost every major sporting event.
