Bailey Higgins is the friendly giant of The Region. Standing tall at 6 ½ feet he looks scary, but he’s really just a big softie. He studied media broadcasting at Durham College for three years and started his internship right here at 105.9 The Region. Now he reports news on Monday and Tuesday mornings and covers all the important local stories you want to hear on the weekend news. He loves to talk and if you’re out and about in York Region, you may run into him grabbing interviews on the street about all the latest events happening in your hometown. If he’s not reporting news, he’s biking through forest trails, playing a round of golf (not well), or pretending to be an F1 driver in go-karts.
