TORONTO — Toronto police say they’re looking for four suspects who made off with over $500,000 worth of jewelry in an armed robbery on Sunday in the city’s downtown core.
Police say four masked men approached victims who were parked in a vehicle in the Spadina Avenue and Bremner Boulevard area just before 5 a.m.
They say the suspects held the victims at gunpoint, stole the jewelry and fled the scene in a blue Nissan Rogue with stolen licence plates.
Police say one victim suffered minor injuries in the theft.
Video of the alleged suspects released by police shows four people wearing dark clothing running through a parking area and piling into a dark-coloured sedan.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
