CP NewsAlert: Toronto police confirm U.S. consulate targeted in another shooting

TORONTO — Police say the U.S. consulate in Toronto was shot at early this morning, a few months after the same building was targeted by gunfire.
They say officers in the area heard a shot near the consulate on University Avenue at 4:46 a.m., and found a shell casing outside the building.
Police say there was damage to the building facade and a suspect vehicle was pursued for a while, but police had to pull back for safety reasons.
