Toronto police to announce arrests in Piper Arms pub shooting that injured 12

TORONTO — Toronto police are expected to announce arrests in a March shooting at a Scarborough pub that left 12 people injured.
Police say they will also provide information this afternoon about a series of other violent incidents that occurred this spring.
The March 7 mass shooting at the Piper Arms pub near the Scarborough Town Centre injured 12 people, half of them seriously.
Police said at the time that they were “horrified” by the violence that took place as the pub celebrated its opening.
Investigators have said that three masked men entered Piper Arms and sprayed the place with bullets.
Some bar patrons were wounded by bullets while others were injured from flying glass.
