Teen struck by Finch LRT taken to hospital

Toronto police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was struck by a light rail transit vehicle in North York Friday afternoon.
Police say the incident involving a pedestrian and an LRT train occurred in the area of Finch Avenue West and Driftwood Avenue shortly before 3:20 p.m.
Investigators say the teen was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Toronto Transit Commission says there was no service between Finch Avenue West and Norfinch-Oakdale stations “due to an injury on track.”
TTC says shuttle buses are servicing the portion of the LRT affected by the collision.
