Teen charged with second-degree murder in death of infant in Port Rowan, Ont: police

PORT ROWAN — A teenager has been charged with murder in the death of an infant in the Lake Erie community of Port Rowan, about 100 kilometres southwest of Hamilton.
Ontario Provincial Police say they were called the afternoon of Nov. 4 to a home on Front Road, where they found a dead infant.
The incident was initially investigated as a sudden death but police say it has since been deemed a homicide.
Investigators say a 16-year-old was arrested last Wednesday and charged with second-degree murder.
The accused, who cannot be identified due to their age, is set to appear in court at a later date.
OPP say the investigation continues.
