Teen charged with murder after man dies following fight in Oshawa, Ont.: police

Police in Durham Region say a 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was killed in a fight outside a Tim Hortons in Oshawa, Ont., on Saturday.
Police say they responded to a report of an armed person near Simcoe Street and Winchester Road just after 8 p.m. and found an injured man who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police allege a fight had occurred between two groups of men outside a Tim Hortons that left the 23-year-old victim with fatal injuries.
They say the suspect surrendered himself to police in Oshawa on Monday and was taken into custody without incident.
Police say the suspect, of Brampton, Ont., has been charged with second-degree murder.
Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and say there are no concerns for public safety.
