Police remain at scene of north Toronto shooting that left three dead

TORONTO — Toronto police say their officers remain at the scene of a shooting that left three people dead, including the gunman, a day earlier.
The shooting took place Monday afternoon at a commercial building in north Toronto.
Police have said a dispute at a business that conducts financial transactions escalated into the shooting that left two men and a woman dead.
A daycare and a school nearby were placed in lockdown but no children were hurt.
Sarah Ashfield from the St. George Mini School daycare says the child-care centre opened again at its regular time on Tuesday morning.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow has offered her condolences to the families of those who died and says the city’s Community Crisis Response Program is working to support community members.
Police have not yet released the names of those who died.
