LONDON — Police in Ontario say a 19-year-old was killed and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash Friday on Highway 401 near London.
The Oxford Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened just after 6:30 p.m., when officers responded to the collision about 60 kilometres east of London in the highway’s eastbound lanes near Oxford Road 22.
Police say the 19-year-old from London was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to hospital but later died.
The driver suffered minor injuries, while a second passenger had non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash closed the eastbound lanes for that stretch of Highway 401 while police conducted their investigation.
