One person arrested after suspected arson at federal government building in Toronto

TORONTO — Toronto police say a fire that broke out in a federal government building Monday morning is being investigated as a suspected arson.
Police say first responders rushed to the scene in the area of Yonge Street and Elmhurst Avenue in North York shortly after 11 a.m.
They say one victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say one person was also arrested in the incident.
Toronto Fire Services confirms the fire occurred in a federal government building at 4900 Yonge Street.
The building is home to several federal offices, including a Canadian Armed Forces recruiting centre and a Service Canada centre with passport services, according to the government’s website.
