Man, 29, facing multiple charges after Peel police seize $1M in drugs

Police in Peel Region say a man has been arrested after officers seized $1 million in drugs and a loaded gun.
Police say their investigation began in September when officers received information about a suspected drug trafficking operation in Peel.
They say the accused, a 29-year-old Toronto resident, was seen allegedly conducting multiple drug transactions across the region.
Police say they executed search warrants at multiple addresses in Toronto on Oct. 31, and seized a loaded handgun, several kilograms of crystal meth among other drugs, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition and other items.
Police say they seized 13 kilograms of drugs in total, worth more than $1 million.
They say the suspect is facing multiple charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
