Four-year-old dead after reportedly falling from balcony in Mississauga, Ont.: police

Police say an investigation is underway into the death of a four-year-old child who possibly fell from an apartment balcony in Mississauga, Ont.
Peel Regional Police say they responded to a call for a medical assist on Monday afternoon in the area of City Centre Drive and Duke of York Boulevard, steps from Square One Shopping Centre.
Police say they learned a four-year-old child had been found on the ground.
They say officers heard reports the child may have fallen off a balcony.
Police say the child was taken to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
Police say they are unable to release further details about the “active and sensitive” investigation.
