Four armed men impersonating police break into Ottawa home

Police in Ottawa are investigating a home invasion and carjacking allegedly carried out by four men impersonating police officers.
Ottawa police say four men armed with guns forced their way into a rooming house in the city’s west end, falsely identifying themselves as police officers.
Police say the suspects confronted multiple occupants of the home but did not say if any victims were hurt.
Investigators believe the residence was not the intended target of the home invasion, but they say the investigation is still ongoing.
Police say a carjacking occurred at a separate location following the home invasion and a stolen vehicle remains missing.
Police say there is no ongoing risk to the public.
