TORONTO — Frigid wind chills are expected in Toronto Tuesday morning after a brief spell of spring weather last week.
Environment Canada is forecasting a low of -13 C with the wind chill in the city, with 40 per cent chance of flurries.
The weather agency says the temperature will warm up to 2 C on Tuesday afternoon and eventually rise to 15 C by Thursday.
The Greater Toronto Area saw a high of 18 C on Good Friday before the temperature dropped again over the Easter weekend.
The spring weather roller-coaster is also bringing brief but intense snowfall to some parts of northern Ontario on Tuesday.
Environment Canada says snow has developed northeast of Lake Superior and will continue toward the Greater Sudbury area by late afternoon, significantly reducing visibility on the roads at times.
