Written by on July 2, 2026

EDMONTON — Auto dealership company AutoCanada Inc. says it has bought a collision repair business in Stratford, Ont., in a move to grow its base in the province.

Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.

AutoCanada says the business, which operated as Fix Auto Stratford, is now called ACX Stratford.

It will continue to operate under its local management team.

AutoCanada says the facility has direct repair program relationships with insurers, including Intact, Definity and DGIG.

AutoCanada chief executive Samuel Cochrane says the acquisition expands the company’s presence in Southwestern Ontario with an experienced team and meaningful opportunities to grow.
