Corrective to Oct. 23 story about Quebec announcement about unhoused people
Written by The Canadian Press on October 26, 2026
A story published by The Canadian Press on Oct. 23 about an announcement by the Quebec premier regarding support for unhoused people incorrectly identified Alia Hassan as director of a women’s shelter called La rue des Femmes. In fact, Alia Hassan-Cournol is the executive director of La rue des Femmes.
