Toronto officer shot, seriously injured during call for stolen e-bike

TORONTO — Toronto police say one person has been arrested after an officer was shot in the early hours of Thursday during a call for a stolen e-bike.
Police say officers responded to a robbery call for the stolen e-bike around 3 a.m.
Investigators say that once found, the suspect shot an officer.
Police say the officer was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.
Investigators say the suspect was arrested, and police seized a firearm.
Police say they are still investigating the shooting.
