Boy, 7, found dead after last seen in Hamilton conservation area

HAMILTON — A boy has been found dead after he went missing from a Hamilton conservation area.
Hamilton police say seven-year-old Nathanael Selambi was last seen in the Binbrook Conservation Area on Wednesday.
They say he was on a beach near a floating inflatable playground.
Mayor Andrea Horwath says she was “heartbroken” to learn of the boy’s death and extended condolences to his family, loved ones and classmates.
Police say they also responded to an unrelated incident during the search for the boy involving a kayaker who had capsized.
They say the man died in hospital.
