One dead, four injured after car crash on Highway 401 in southwestern Ontario: police

DUTTON — Provincial police say one person is dead after a collision on Highway 401 in southwestern Ontario.
OPP say emergency responders were called to the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision on the eastbound lane of Highway 401 at Iona Road in Dutton.
They say a 64-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
Four others were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lane of the highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Police say they will investigate the cause of the crash.
