Emergency alert continues in northern Ontario as police search for armed suspect: OPP

Provincial police in northern Ontario say a shelter-in-place order remains in effect in the Temiskaming District as officers continue to search for a man believed to be armed and dangerous.
Police initially issued the emergency alert Friday evening and confirmed Saturday that officers are looking for a 34-year-old man in the Latchford and Temagami North area.
Police have released photos and a description of a suspect and they’re advising the public to stay away if they see him and call 911.
Police say no injuries have been reported.
They say Roosevelt Road in Latchford and Temagami North remains closed as police investigate.
Residents in the area are advised to seek shelter in a secure location and keep doors and windows locked during the emergency alert.
