Police seek witnesses after alleged hit-and-run in Hamilton leaves man dead

HAMILTON — Police in Hamilton are searching for witnesses after a pedestrian died in an alleged hit-and-run.
Investigators say the incident happened shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday night when a 65-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing the road.
Police say the driver fled the scene after the incident.
Hamilton police say their collision reconstruction unit is still investigating the incident.
They’re asking for any witnesses to come forward and for residents in the area to check their security camera footage.
